as a Junior in 2008

• started two games as the designated player before coming off the bench in 17 games for the Cowgirls.

• had a .316 batting average with six hits in 19 at-bats, six runs scored and one run batted in.

• went 4-for-9 as a pinch hitter, good for a .444 average.

• went 2-for-4 in a start against Samford on Feb. 22.

• was 1-for-1 with an RBI and a run scored against North Texas on April 1.


as a Sophomore in 2007

• played in 30 games and started 14 for the Cowgirls, including seven in left field and seven in right field.

• scored six runs on the season and also had six hits.

• was a perfect 4-of-4 on stolen base attempts.


as a Freshman in 2006

• went 1-for-4 on the season with her only hit being a triple in the first game against Cal Poly.

• scored five runs on the year primarily as a pinch runner.

• saw action in 13 games coming off the bench.


at Durant High School (2002-05)

• was a three-sport letterwinner at Durant High School.

• garnered four letters in softball and track and one letter in basketball.

• played softball for coach Kent Pickens.

• was named all-region, all-area and All-State her senior season.

• was a three-time all-area selection.

• led the team in hitting her final three seasons and tallied a .380 batting average as a senior.

• as a senior, recorded a .504 on-base percentage and a .511 slugging percentage.

• was named a Southern Oklahoma All-Star three times and was a member of the Durant all-tournament team as the Most Valuable Player.

• led Durant to a regional championship and the Class 4A state quarterfinals.

• played summer ball for the Tulsa Eagles and coach Dave Simmons.

• helped the Eagles to an AFA National Championship.

• was named the team's Outstanding Female Runner twice and was a state qualifier in the 100-meter and 200-meter dashes.


Personal

Born April 26, 1987, Kati is the daughter of Jimmy and Leah Phillips. She has an older brother, Aaron, and two sisters, Ali and Kasi. Kati is majoring in health promotions at Oklahoma State. She enjoys shopping and spending time with her friends and family.
