STILLWATER, Okla. - Oklahoma State soccer player Bridget Miller has been named an OSU Senior of Significance, it was announced today by the OSU Alumni Association. Miller is one of 45 recipients of the 2009-10 Seniors of Significance Award, and she becomes the fourth Cowgirl soccer player to earn the distinction, joining Yolanda Odenyo (2008), Niccole Grimaldi (2007) and Lauren Colwell (2005). Miller, a native of Wylie, Texas, serves as one of OSU's team captains this season. She has started every game for the Cowgirls in 2009 and has two goals and two assists.
In the classroom, Miller is a three-time Academic All-Big 12 First Team honoree and carries a 3.7 GPA in health and human promotions-exercise and health. Last month, she was named to the ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District 6 second team. Also actively involved on campus and in the community, Miller is a member of the OSU Student-Athlete Advisory Committee and serves as a Salvation Army and American Red Cross volunteer.
