STILLWATER, Okla. - Oklahoma State scored a pair of goals in the first 10 minutes and never looked back as the Cowgirls closed the regular season with their fifth-straight win, a 3-0 triumph over Utah at the Cowgirl Soccer Complex Thursday night.

On a night honoring OSU's senior class of Kasey Langdon, Bridget Miller and Siera Strawser, each of those players factored into the three goals as the Cowgirls improved to 12-7 heading into next week's Big 12 Soccer Championship. The win was the 61st for OSU's senior class, which ranks as the 13th-winningest current senior class in the nation.

"It's great, and I wouldn't expect anything else from those three," OSU head coach Colin Carmichael said of the OSU seniors' big night. "They've done so much for this program. I would not be surprised if they lead us to a Big 12 championship next week. That's just the way the three of them are. To finish off at home like that has to feel good for those kids.

"They're the 13th-most successful senior class in the nation - only 12 teams have more wins than what these three have gotten for us. It's hard to say goodbye to them, but we do have some games to play in San Antonio."

Miller helped get the scoring started for the Cowgirls just under nine minutes into the match as she delivered a high corner kick from the near side that Carson Michalowski raced in and headed past Utah goalie Hannah Turpen to put OSU up, 1-0.

Just 68 seconds later, OSU struck again. This time it was Langdon sending a cross to just outside the eight-yard box that Annika Niemeier headed in for her team-leading ninth goal of the season.

Langdon's assist on the play was the 25th of her career, which ties her for second on OSU's all-time list.

OSU's final goal of the night came from Miller, who took a pass from Strawser and blasted a shot from 12-yards out to the far post to provide the final 3-0 margin. The goal was the second of the season for Miller and the third in the career of the defender turned midfielder.

"It was our last game so of course it's gonna be something that I always remember," Miller said. "It was fun. All of us contributing was exciting, and we all enjoyed getting some stats and a win."

AD Franch and Keely Kippenberger combined for OSU's conference leading 11th shutout of the season. Franch recorded a pair of saves in the game's first 73:41, while Kippenberger made an impressive save in the 87th minute to keep the Utes off the scoreboard as she leapt and knocked a shot from Hanna Terry over the crossbar.

OSU will be in action Wednesday in the opening round of the Big 12 Soccer Championship in San Antonio. The Cowgirls' tourney seed and first-round opponent will be determined Friday.
