Highlights from the 2011 Oklahoma State Cowgirl Soccer season, where OSU won its fifth Big 12 Conference Championship and advanced to the NCAA Elite Eight for the second straight year.
2010: Started all 26 games ... notched assists vs. Memphis (9/3) and Iowa State (10/3) ... key to a defense that led the Big 12 in goals against average (0.79) while allowing just 21 goals and recording 10 shutouts ... took 57 of OSU's 123 corner kicks ... an Academic All-Big 12 First Team honoree.
2009: Played in 23 games with 22 starts ... key part of a defense that recorded a school-record 14 shutouts and allowed just 16 goals ... tied for team lead with five assists ... first-career assist came in 1-0 win at Rice (9/11) ... recorded two assists at the Big 12 Soccer Championship ... notched an assist on the equalizing goal against Missouri in the tourney semifinals (11/6) ... collected an assist off a corner kick in OSU's 1-0 win over Texas A&M in the title game (11/8) ... was one of CollegeSoccer360.com's Primetime Performers of the Week for Week 11 (11/11) ... named to the Academic All-Big 12 First Team.
2008: Appeared in all 23 games for the Cowgirls ... started in six games, including the final three of the season ... played a key role on a defensive corps that recorded 10 shutouts and allowed just 18 goals.
CLUB/PREP: Spent 2004 playing with the Region 3 ODP team and attended the ODP National Camp ... was also a member of the Edmond Soccer Club '90, which was twice a national runner-up and a two-time regional champion ... led Bishop McGuiness High School to the state championship game in 2006 and a state semifinal appearance in 2005 ... only played high school soccer as a freshman and sophomore ... also recruited by TCU, Mississippi State and Tulsa.
PERSONAL: Born on Feb. 26, 1990... daughter of Mike and Kate Dougherty ... has two brothers, Brian and Michael, and a sister, Kaylie Garcia ... sister plays soccer at TCU ... majoring in physchology/pre-med.
