IRVING, Texas - Oklahoma State's Kelsey Vines has been named the Big 12 Golfer of the Month for February. She is the first Cowgirl to earn the award since 2010. The Austin, Texas native earned her third victory as a Cowgirl at the Hurricane Invitational, leading her team to a fourth-place finish. The senior fired her low round of the year at the event, posting a 68 during the second round. She followed that up with back-to-back runner-up finishes at the Northrop Grumman Regional Challenge and Sugar Bowl Intercollegiate. Her two second-place showings ran her string of first or second-place finishes to four in a row dating back to the fall. Vines is currently the No. 1-ranked player in the country according to the Golfweek/Sagarin Rankings and Golfstat.
