The Oklahoma State (2-1) equestrian team will travel to Manhattan to take on the fifth ranked Kansas State Wildcats on Saturday.
The no. 4 Cowgirls are coming off a 14-9 drubbing of the Baylor Lady Bears on October 16. The victory bumped OSU up two spots from sixth in the latest Varsity Equestrian coaches poll.
In horsemanship the Cowgirls will be represented by seniors Ashley Koch-Kennedy and Suzanne Randolph, juniors Marguax Tucker and Courtney Whitacre and freshman Marissa Dalton.
In reigning, seniors Leah Kuehn, Rachell Shobe and Molly Tipton, sophomore Caroline Daniels and freshman Christy McElreath will all ride for the Pokes.
Riding in equitation on the flat are seniors Ally Blais and Jen McLaughlin, junior Alice White and sophomores Sarah Brown and Jordan White.
Juniors Hannah Beresford and Erin Prutow will join Blais, White and White in equitation over fences.
The Cowgirls are led this season by Whitacre on the western team and Blais in the hunt seat. Whitacre has two MVPs on the year while Blais has collected four MVPs in just three events. |
