Joyce and Harrison to Compete at Collegiate Equitation Challenge

Oklahoma State equestrian riders, Allison Joyce and Sam Harrison will represent the Cowgirls at the 4th Annual Collegiate Equitation Challenge at the Winter Equestrian Festival in Wellington, Fla. this weekend.

The event will be conducted utilizing the NCEA head-to-head bracketed format with sixteen top collegiate riders from all across the country. Participating riders will compete over an equitation course that features heights up to three feet, six inches.

Competition begins at 2 p.m. ET with the preliminary round, which includes each of the 16 riders. The eight winners qualify for the finals to be held in the evening sessions at 7 p.m. ET.

Joyce and Harrison will be back with the Cowgirls the following weekend, when they take on Fresno State at the Animal Science Arena on February 16.
