Cowgirls Host Texas A&M in Top 5 Matchup

Oklahoma State’s fifth-ranked equestrian team will host third-ranked Texas A&M this Saturday in a top 5 matchup between the two schools. The meet will begin at 10 a.m. at the Animal Science Arena.

About the Cowgirls

Oklahoma State is 5-3 on the season, after defeating Delaware State, 15-3, and Tennessee-Martin, 16-4, this past weekend.

The Cowgirls are ranked fifth in the latest Women’s Intercollegiate Equestrian National Coaches Poll. They received 64 points in the poll, just behind SEC powers Texas A&M (68), Georgia (68), Auburn (99) and South Carolina (103).

Texas A&M is 4-3 on the season and ranked third in the latest poll.

Recent Series

The Cowgirls fell to the Aggies in last year’s NCEA Western Championship, 975.5-1116.5 but also defeated the Aggies 2404-2386 in the Big 12 Championship. The regular season series was split with the Aggies winning the first meet 14-8 and the Cowgirls winning 13-10 in the spring.
