Cowgirls Come Up Short to TCU, 10-9

STILLWATER - Oklahoma State's sixth-ranked equestrian team fell to the eighth-ranked TCU Horned Frogs, 10-9, on Saturday at the Animal Science Arena.

"It was a very tight competition all day long," coach Sanchez said. "Are plan is to address the mistakes we made and correct them. We will then be ready to compete against Kansas State on the seventeenth."

The OSU hunter seat squad tied TCU, 5-5, defeating the Horned Frogs in equitation on the flat 3-2 and losing equitation over fences 3-2.

The Western team lost for the first time all season with a 5-4 loss. Defeating the Horned Frogs 3-2 in reining but losing horsemanship 3-1.

OSU sophomore Katy Krshka received Most Outstanding Player in reining, with a high-score of 78.

Oklahoma State will be back in action when they host Kansas State on November 17 at the Animal Science Arena.
