IRVING, Texas - Oklahoma State's Brittney Martin was chosen as the season's first Phillips 66 Big 12 Women's Basketball Freshman of the Week, as selected by a media voting panel for games from Nov. 9-11. The honor comes for Martin following her first week of collegiate play. The Syracuse, Utah native made her Cowgirl debut with a 15-point, six-rebound performance in a 90-59 win over Cal Poly on Friday night. She also dished out three assists to go with a game-high six steals and one blocked shot in 26 minutes of action. Martin connected on 6-of-13 shots from the floor and made her lone 3-point attempt. Martin and the Cowgirls will be back in action on Tuesday night at 7 p.m. when they take on Missouri State in Springfield, Mo.
