STILLWATER, Okla. - Oklahoma State's women's basketball team has signed five players to National Letters of Intent it was announced today by Cowgirl head coach Kurt Budke.

All five of OSU's additions are from the high school ranks as guards Tiffany Bias, Jenni Bryan and Jazmyn Dorsett joined post players Vicky McIntyre and Kendra Suttles as Cowgirl signees.

"This class is a great class to back up the freshmen we brought in this year. We signed one at every position," Budke said. "We were looking for balance and to put back-to-back classes together. There is a great mixture of kids in this class that will fit in at Oklahoma State."

Bias is ranked by HoopGurlz as the No. 23 point guard in the country and one of the top 100 players in the nation by All-Star Girls Report. She averaged 21 points and six assists as a junior at Andover Central (Kan.) High School. In 2008, she led Central to a 26-0 record and the school's first-ever state championship while averaging 17.1 points and 5.4 assists per game. Bias is also a standout in track, claiming the Class 5A state title in the 400-meter dash as a junior.

"Tiffany Bias is considered one of the best point guards in this nation. She will have a tremendous opportunity to come in as a freshman, like Andrea Riley, and run the point from Day One," Budke said.

Last season, Bryan averaged 21.2 points and 11.2 rebounds per game at Coweta (Okla.) High School. Bryan was named an all-state selection and was tabbed as an all-metro pick as well. During her sophomore season, she averaged 15.3 points per game. She guided CHS to a berth in the state finals and was named to the Class 5A All-Tournament Team.

"There will be nobody tougher come onto this campus than Jenni Bryan. There will be nobody with more heart or toughness at practice each day. She is nothing but a winner," Budke said.

Dorsett averaged 9.3 points, 6.6 rebounds 2.9 assists and 2.0 steals per game while earning first-team all-district honors last season. In addition, she helped Frisco (Texas) High School to a 33-4 record as well as a berth in the Class 4A regional finals. FHS enters Dorsett's senior campaign as one of the nation's top teams, ranking 39th on the ESPN RISE Fab 50 list. Dorsett is ranked as the No. 58 shooting guard by HoopGurlz.

"Jazmyn Dorsett is a tremendous athlete that can shoot the three. She guarded as well as anybody I saw during the summer," Budke said.

As a junior, McIntyre averaged 13.4 points and 9.6 rebounds while helping Marian (Neb.) High School to a 23-6 mark and a third-place finish at the state tournament. She also blocked 3.6 blocks per game on her way to earning second-team all-state and all-metro honors.

"Vicky is a legitimate 6-6 and her reach is 6-10. We felt we had to have somebody come in that could guard the big centers in this league. Her best days are ahead of her," Budke said.

Suttles is ranked as the No. 23 post player by HoopGurlz and the No. 44 player overall by the All-Star Girls Report. Last season, she averaged 15.7 and 9.3 and 3.1 blocks per game for Lawton (Okla.) High School. As a sophomore, Suttles averaged 17.1 points, 9.3 rebounds and 4.5 blocks to earn honorable mention all-state honors.

"Kendra brings something to the four spot that we don't have. She can shoot the three. We found out with (former Cowgirl) Maria Cordero how valuable it was to have a post player that could do that. She can post you and she can shoot the three," Budke said.
