OSU Closes Regular Season With Bedlam
Oklahoma State’s women’s basketball team (21-8, 9-6) will look to close the regular season on a four-game winning streak on Sunday at 4 p.m. when it travels to Norman to take on Oklahoma (20-9, 10-5) in the latest installment of the Bedlam Series. OSU has won three in a row after knocking off No. 13 Iowa State, 78-70, in Stillwater on Wednesday. The Sooners will be looking to bounce back from a 78-55 midweek loss at Texas A&M.
Cowgirls and Sooners ... The Series
OU leads the all-time series by a 49-35 count after its 77-66 win in Stillwater on Feb. 6. The Sooners have now won four in a row. OSU’s last win in the series came on Jan. 12, 2008 at home and its last win in Norman was a 76-54 victory on Feb. 7, 1998. OU is 26-11 in Norman against the Cowgirls.

Sunday will be Senior Day in Norman for OU’s Abi Olajuwon, Nyeshia Stevenson and Amanda Thompson. The Sooners are 10-3 this season at home with all three losses coming against ranked foes. Four active players are scoring in double figures with Danielle Robinson leading the way at 16.7 points per game. Robinson currently ranks seventh in the league in scoring, third in assists (5.1 (apg) and third in free throw percentage (.868). Amanda Thompson is the league’s No. 2 rebounder at 10.1 boards per contest.

Andrea Riley enters Sunday’s contest with 196 assists on the season, which is five shy of tying Liz Brown for the OSU single-season record ... the contest will be Riley’s 127th career game, tying her with Shaunte’ Smith for first place on the school’s all-time list ... Riley is 24 points shy of 1,000 for her career against ranked opponents ... the Sooners are OSU’s eighth ranked opponent in the last 10 games .... OSU has a school record five wins against ranked foes this season and has won its last two against top 25 teams.
