STILLWATER, Okla. - Behind the strength of a win against a top-10 opponent over the weekend, Oklahoma State’s women’s basketball team earned its first-ever appearance in the Associated Press’ top 10.

The Cowgirls have won three consecutive games after knocking off Missouri and No. 8 Texas A&M last week to improve to 18-3 overall and 6-1 in Big 12 play. In this week’s poll, OSU garnered 632 points to stand in the No. 10 spot and 23 points behind No. 9 North Carolina.

OSU appeared in the rankings for the first time this season on Jan. 4 and achieved the program’s highest-ever ranking two weeks later at No. 12.
