
The 2011-12 season will be the fifth for Amber Littleton as the director of basketball operations for the Cowgirl basketball program. A vital cog in the day-to-day operations of the program, Littleton assumed her current position after having previously served as its senior staff assistant. As director of operations, Littleton serves as a jack-of-all-trades for head coach Kurt Budke's program, assisting with scheduling and overseeing the order and distribution of equipment. She is also in charge of the team's student managers and coordinates the program's travel schedule. In addition, she runs the squad's Hoop Troop donor program and coordinates the basketball office's day-to-day operations. Littleton joined the Cowgirls in 2004-05 as a student staff assistant, helping with the program's recruiting correspondence. After becoming a full-time member of the staff, Littleton expanded her duties. In addition to her daily workload, she helped with the Cowgirls' summer camps as well as coordinated various game day operations and helping with the program's marketing and fundraising. A 2002 graduate of Millwood High School in Oklahoma City, Littleton received her bachelors of science degree in athletic training from Oklahoma State in 2006. While a student at OSU, she worked as a athletic training student with the Cowboy football and baseball squads. Littleton is currently pursuing her master's degree in sports administration from the United States Sports Academy. Born, Jan. 21, 1984 to Beverly Woodrow and Michael Littleton, she has three sisters, Detra, Dana and Talina. Littleton is engaged to Lee'Nell Carter of Oklahoma City. |
