Entering her fourth season with the Cowgirl program is Lacey Goldwire. After spending two years as a student assistant, Goldwire assumed her current role as OSU's graduate assistant for the 2010-11 campaign.

Goldwire assists in the production of recruiting correspondence, oversees the ballgirl program and helps coordinate travel for the squad. Additionally, she is in charge of the program's community service efforts and helps conduct special events.

Goldwire arrived in Stillwater after a stellar playing career at East Central (Okla.) University.

As a senior, Goldwire averaged 21.1 points to lead the Tigers for the third-straight season. She also pulled 5.9 rebounds per game and was named the 2008 Lone Star Conference North Co-Player of the Year as well as a second-team All-South Central Region pick.

She scored 527 points during her final season to finish her career with 1,340 points, the fifth-best total in school history. That same year, she was named ECU's Athlete of the Year.

Goldwire scored in double figures in 24 of the 25 games she played as a senior and scored 20 or more points 16 times. She was a 47.8 percent field goal shooter and was an 81.3 percent free throw shooter.

The Oklahoma City native was named a Lone Star Conference North honorable mention pick as a sophomore and junior.

During her junior campaign, Goldwire averaged 12.4 points and 4.9 rebounds per game and totaled 12.0 points per contest as a sophomore.

Goldwire earned all-state and all-city honors during a standout prep career at Del City (Okla.) High School.

Born June 3, 1986, Goldwire received her undergraduate degree from OSU in health and human performance. She is currently pursuing a master's degree in higher education.

She is the daughter of Tami and Bennie Goldwire. Father played collegiately at Oklahoma and mother played at Phillips University. Has one sister, Tiffany, who plays at Oklahoma City University. Goldwire's cousin, Anthony Goldwire, played professionally in the CBA, NBA and overseas. He currently is a staff member for the Milwaukee Bucks.
