STILLWATER - The Oklahoma State men's and women's cross country teams competed in a triangular meet against Oral Roberts and Wichita State at the OSU Cross Country Course on Saturday. The Cowboys defeated WSU 16 to 39 and beat ORU 15-40. Justin Vihauer led the way for the Pokes, finishing in first place with a time of 15:17. Kevin Colón (15:30), Nick Thorp (16:16), Zach Wills (16:49) and Klaus Schmidt (17:17) finished behind him in second, third, fourth and sixth place, respectively. The Cowgirls won the head-to-head competition with WSU 24-33 and defeated ORU 15-45. Adela Hofmannova finished in second place with 13:32. Chelsey Phoebus (13:45), Jenny Dyer (13:45), Mihaela Bobos (14:27), Kendra Woodson (14:27) and Paige Barnes (14:27) finished all finished in the top ten by coming in third, fourth, seventh, eighth and ninth place, respectively. Both OSU teams return to action next Saturday when they travel to Louisville, Ky. for the 2012 NCAA National Championships.
