2012 Outdoors: NCAA West Preliminary Rounds qualifier in the 10,000 meters, but didn't finish the race at the Regional ... Was the Big 12 runner-up in the 10,000 meters with a 29:32.99 and took third at the conference meet in the 5,000 meters with a 14:03.02 ... The 13:54.82 that he ran in the 5,000 meters at the Stanford Invitational was good for 46th in the nation and fifth in the Midwest Region during the regular season.
2012 Indoors: Finished ninth in the 5,000 meters at the NCAA Championships with a time of 13:54.24 to earn second-team All-America honors ... Won the Big 12 title in the 5,000 meters, posting a time of 13:49.04 to earn his first Big 12 championship ... Set a personal best in the 5K with a time of 13:46.00, which he set at the Husky Invitational ... That time also checks in as the second-best 5,000 meter time in OSU history ... Also set a personal best in the 3,000 meters when he clocked a 7:59.79 at the Razorback Invitational to place seventh.
2011 Cross Country: Placed fourth at the Midwest Regional, completing the 10,000-meter race in 31:22.89 ... Came in fifth at the Big 12 conference meet, posting a time of 23:34.8, which is the third-fastest 8,000 meter time in OSU history ... Earned all-region and all-Big 12 honors ... Was the Cowboys' fourth finisher at the NCAA Championships, placing 50th with a time of 30:22.4 ... Placed fourth at the Cowboy Jamboree with a 23:57.96 ... Came in eighth at the Chile Pepper Festival with a 10,000 meter time of 29:45.7.
2011 Outdoors (at Western Kentucky): Won the individual title in the 10,000 meters at the Sun Belt Conference Championships behind a 30:16.87 effort ... Ran the 10k at the NCAA Outdoor Championships in 29:38.39 to finish 16th ... Set a personal best in the 1,500 meters at the Hilltopper Relays with a time of 3:53.57 ... Was strong in the 5,000 meters at the Florida Relays, finishing in 14:04.52.
2011 Indoors (at Western Kentucky): Ran three events during the Sun Belt Indoor Championships, finishing runner-up in all three ... Ran the mile in 4:13.10, finished the 3,000 meters in 8:26.89 and completed the 5,000 meters in 14:40.81 to earn his three second-place finishes at the SBC Championships ... Set his personal best of 4:07.13 in the mile at the Rod McCravy Invitational ... Clocked an 8:07.88 in the 3,000 meters at the Kentucky Invitational.
2010 Cross Country (at Western Kentucky): Won the Sun Belt Conference individual title after running the 8,000 meters in 24:33.10 ... Placed 27th at the NCAA Championships, running the 10,000-meter race in 30:20.50, earning All-America honors ... Placed 10th at the Pre-Nationals event in Terre Haute, Ind., with a time of 23:54.50 ... Finished second at the Greater Louisville Cross Country Classic, completing the 8,000-meter race in 23:21.18 ... Set a personal best in the 10k at the Southwest Regional, clocking a 29:08.64.
2010 Outdoors (at Western Kentucky): Recorded a fourth-place finish in the 5,000 meters at the Sun Belt Conference Championships after running a 14:40.71 ... Placed seventh in the 1,500-meter run with a time of 4:03.00 at the SBC Championships ... Set a season best in the 1,500 meters at the WKU Invitational after clocking a 3:58.67.
2010 Indoors (at Western Kentucky): Placed third in the 5,000 meters at the Sun Belt Conference Indoor Championships, completing the race in 14:39.15, which was a season best ... finished fifth at the SBC Championships in the 3,000-meter race with a time of 8:26.18, which was also a season best.

Personal: Shadrack Kipchirchir was born Feb. 22, 1989 in Kenya ... Son of John and Rose Tirop ... Assisted with the Red Cross ... Played soccer as a youth ... Brothers Nicholas (Jacksonville State) and Titus Tirop (Lindenwood University) both ran collegiately in the U.S.
