2012 Outdoors: NCAA West Preliminary Rounds qualifier in the 10,000 meters, but didn't finish the race at the Regional ... Was the Big 12 runner-up in the 10,000 meters with a 29:32.99 and took third at the conference meet in the 5,000 meters with a 14:03.02 ... The 13:54.82 that he ran in the 5,000 meters at the Stanford Invitational was good for 46th in the nation and fifth in the Midwest Region during the regular season.
2012 Indoors: Finished ninth in the 5,000 meters at the NCAA Championships with a time of 13:54.24 to earn second-team All-America honors ... Won the Big 12 title in the 5,000 meters, posting a time of 13:49.04 to earn his first Big 12 championship ... Set a personal best in the 5K with a time of 13:46.00, which he set at the Husky Invitational ... That time also checks in as the second-best 5,000 meter time in OSU history ...
