Individual Champions
Our program is judged by a different standard. Our fans, coaches and student-athletes don't measure success by the competition. Our motivation comes from tradition; a championship legacy that calls us to cheer louder, train harder and dig deeper. We owe it to those who built the foundation.

This is the home of more championships by a university in any single sport. This is the University of Wrestling. This is Oklahoma State.

136 Individual National Champions
In addition to its NCAA-record 34 team national championships, the Oklahoma State Wrestling program has also produced 136 individual national championships. Beginning in 1928, over 80 Cowboys have taken home at least one individual championship.

Oklahoma State's 136 individual championships is the most of any wrestling program in America. In fact, the 134 championships mark is greater than the individual champion output of Big 12 rivals Iowa State and Oklahoma (67 and 65 individual champions, respectively) combined.

OSU has also captured over 230 individual conference championships, including 58 in the Big 12 era as of 2011.
