The Basics The Oklahoma State men’s and women’s track and field squads send their top performers to compete at the NCAA Championships in Fayetteville, Ark., from June 10-13.
On The Air Friday’s action will be televised live on CBS College Sports from 6-9 p.m. Saturday’s action will be live on CBS from noon-2 p.m. The action on Wednesday and Thursday will not be televised. There will be live streaming through NCAA.com and ArkansasRazorbacks.com whenever CBS College Sports and CBS are not airing events live.

Last Time Out: NCAA Midwest Regional An event title in the men’s 1,500 meters from German Fernandez and a school record in the women’s triple jump from Baiba Blumbaha highlighted OSU’s showing at the NCAA Midwest Region Championships. Fernandez won the 1,500m final in 3:43.09 and Blumbaha jumped 13.02 meters to shatter the school record. Other highlighted performances came from Merritt Dietz in the women’s discus throw (fourth - 51.07 meters) and from Ryan Vail in the men’s 5,000 meters (third-14:03.88).
School Record-Holders On Display A number of Cowboys and Cowgirls who qualified for the NCAA Championships are OSU record-holders. The list:

NCAA Championships Experience Of Oklahoma State’s 2009 NCAA qualifiers, only Ryan Vail and Tone Hjalmarsen have competed at the NCAA Outdoor Championships previously. Vail placed 17th in the 5,000 meters at the 2007 national meet and earned All-America honors with a fifth-place finish in the 5,000 meters last year. Hjalmarsen placed 17th in the 5,000 meters at the 2008 NCAA Championships.
