
Feb. 14, 2013 STILLWATER - OSU Track Travels To Norman For Sooner Invitational
STILLWATER—The Oklahoma State men’s and women’s track and field teams will travel southbound on I-35 to Norman, Okla., for the Sooner Invitational on Saturday.
This is the final meet before the Big 12 Championships on Feb. 22-23 in Ames, Iowa.
On the women’s side, Chase Ealey will take her national No. 37 ranking into the shot put. She has finished in the top 11 in each competition in which she has thrown this season.
Caitlin Way will compete for the Cowgirls in the weight throw. Like Ealey, Way has not finished outside of the top 11 in an event this season.
On the men’s side, Taylor Buck will compete in the high jump, coming off a 10th place finish last weekend at the Tyson Invitational.
Terrance West will run the 400 meters for the Cowboys. Earlier in the season at the Wildcat Invitational, West picked up a third place finish in the 400m, with a time of 51.37.
