TULSA, Okla. – Oklahoma State’s Oleksandr Nedovyesov and Aleksey Bessonov won a close match in the semifinals of the main draw doubles bracket at the D'Novo/ITA All-American Tennis Championships Sunday, but then fell short of the championship, falling in the final match.

The Cowboy duo claimed a win over Stanford’s
Bradley Klahn and Ryan Thacher, 9-8 (4), in the semifinal, but couldn’t manage a fifth consecutive win at the tournament, dropping the championship to Tennessee’s Boris Conkic and John Patrick Smith, 8-4.

The Oklahoma State men’s tennis team is scheduled to return to action on Oct. 16, when the Cowboys travel to Fayetteville, Ark., for the Razorback Invitational.
