AUSTIN, Texas – The No. 75 Oklahoma State men’s tennis team fell in its second Big 12 match up of the weekend, 5-2, to the No. 13 Texas Longhorns at the Penick-Allison Tennis Center. With the loss, the Cowboys fall to 7-9 for the season and 0-2 in Big 12 play. The Longhorns (14-6, 1-1) swept the doubles matches, despite a valiant effort from Rifat Biktyakov and Vlad Bondarenko at No. 1 against No. 27 Chris Camillone and David Holiner, where the duo fell 8-7 in a 7-4 tie breaker. Freshman Chris Haworth picked up his 12th win of the year with a 6-4, 6-0, victory against Lloyd Glasspool at No. 3 singles. Eric West improved to 11-2 on the year after defeating Ben Chen, 6-3, 6-3, at No. 4. The Cowboys will return to action on Wednesday against Tulsa at 5 p.m. inside the Case Tennis Center.
