WINDERMERE, Fla. - Oklahoma State's men's golf team wrapped up its fall slate on Tuesday at the Isleworth Collegiate Invitational, finishing ninth at Isleworth Country Club. The Cowboys posted a 14-over 302 during their third round to finish at 904. OSU's 40-over total put them five shots ahead of Florida and seven behind Central Florida at the par-72, 7,544-yard layout. Texas closed with a 282 to roll to a 26-shot victory, finishing at 856. LSU was second at 882. Texas' Jordan Spieth cruised to an eight-shot win of his own, firing a 67 to finish at 11-under 205. OSU's Talor Gooch moved up four spots during the final round to finish alone in fifth place. The sophomore closed with an even-par 72 to finish at 217. After a double bogey on his opening hole, Gooch bounced back with a pair of birdies on his outward nine to turn at even-par 36. He came in with a clean second nine that included nine pars to get in with another 36. Junior Drew Page posted a 77 to finish tied for 35th place at 227 in a group that included sophomore teammate Ian Davis. Davis closed with a 73 during his third round. Junior Sean Einhaus posted an 80 to finish at 233 and tied for 50th place. Sophomore Kevin Dougherty also carded an 80 for an 239 total and tied her for 64th. The Cowboys will return to action in February at the Hawaii-Hilo Invitational.
