BRYAN, Texas - Oklahoma State's men's golf team closed play at the Aggie Invitational on Sunday with a 10-over 370 to finish in fifth place at Traditions Golf Club.
The Cowboys finished the 54-hole event with a 59-over total of 1,139 at the par-72, 7,146-yard layout. OSU's total put them seven shots off the pace of Oklahoma for fourth place in the six-count-five format. Oregon took home the team trophy after posting a 1,109 total, which gave the Ducks an 11-shot victory.
New Mexico's Victor Perez carded a closing 69 at 213 and four shots clear of the field in the individual race.
Tanner Kesterson led the OSU starting lineup, finishing among the top 10. The freshman closed with an even-par 72 to come in at 220 and alone in sixth place.
Junior Sean Einhaus' 79 tied him for 56th place at 241.
Sophomore Ian Davis competed individually and finished tied for 17th place after posting a 72 on Sunday to finish at 227.
The Cowboys will be back in action on April 27 when they begin play at the Big 12 Championship at Whispering Pines Golf Club in Trinity, Texas.
