LA QUINTA, Calif. - Oklahoma State's men's golf team carded a 287 during its final round on Wednesday at The Prestige at PGA West to finish sixth at the Greg Norman Course. The Cowboys posted a 54-hole total of 864, 12-over, at the par-71, 7,100-yard layout to come in four strokes behind Stanford. Washington and USC each carded 1-under 851 scores to tie for the top spot on the leaderboard. UCLA's Pedro Figueiredo closed with a 4-under 67 to claim medalist honors at 8-under 205. OSU freshman Jordan Niebrugge was one of three players to tie for second place after posting a 2-under 69 to finish at 3-under 210 for the event. Junior Talor Gooch also notched a top-10 finish, tying for seventh place after posting a 1-under 70 to finish at 213. Junior Ian Davis tied for 33rd place at 220 after closing with a 74, while senior Sean Einhaus' 74 tied him for 37th place at 221. Junior Sam Lee finished with a 79 to tie for 73rd place at 232. Competing individually, sophomore Tanner Kesterson finished alone in 77th place with a 233 total that included a 74 during his final round. The Cowboys will be back in action on March 8 when they travel to Las Vegas to take part in the Southern Highlands Collegiate Masters.
