STILLWATER, Okla. - Oklahoma State's Lane Taylor, Joseph Randle, Josh Stewart and Quinn Sharp all secured 2012 First-Team All-Big 12 recognition by the Associated Press, it was announced today. Sharp earned the honor as both a punter and a kicker.
OSU's five first-team spots trailed only league champion Kansas State, who had six.
Taylor did not allow a sack in over 850 snaps of action, Randle led the Big 12 with 112.6 rushing yards per contest, Stewart ranked among the top 10 nationally with 96 receptions and the top 20 nationally with 1,154 receiving yards en route to turning in one of the finest sophomore seasons ever for a Cowboy receiver and Sharp led the nation in kicker scoring and would have been among the national leaders in punting if he had enough attempts to qualify for the NCAA stats.
