Irving, Texas - The Big 12 Conference has announced that the Texas-Oklahoma State football game on Oct. 31 has been selected for a prime-time television spot with the game kicking off at 7 p.m. in Stillwater.

The contest will be televised under one of two scenarios. It could be televised on ABC as a split national telecast with the USC-Oregon matchup, garnering 50 percent of the television audience. The parts of the country that receive the Pacific-10 game will be able to view the Texas-OSU clash on ESPN2. Otherwise, the game will be televised solely on ESPN2, assuring a national audience for the Longhorns and Cowboys under either scenario.

The Texas-Oklahoma State game has been selected for a network or national cable telecast every year since 2001. The selection also means that Oklahoma State will appear on national television for a fourth-straight week after facing Texas A&M on Fox Sports Net, Missouri on ESPN2 and Baylor on VERSUS.
