Aug. 27, 2014

David Glidden is a 5-foot-7, 185-pound receiver from Mustang, Okla.  He played in every game last year and earned a start in a win at Texas.  In a career day against Kansas last season, Glidden reeled in six catches for 73 yards, including a career-long reception of 39 yards. About to begin his junior season, he looks to play a significant role for the Cowboys in 2014. A look at Glidden off the field:

What is the one talent you'd most like to have?
I've always thought it would be really cool to be a comedian. So I'd say I wish I was funny.

What is your favorite website?
I'm not sure I really have a favorite website now, but if I had to choose I'd probably say Eastbay. It was my favorite growing up.

If you could visit any place in the world, where would you go and why?
That's easy, Bora Bora. The pictures on twitter get me every time.

Who is your favorite athlete to watch in another sport?
My favorite athlete to watch would be Russell Westbrook because he plays full speed all the time and is the definition of relentless.

One word to describe you.

What is your favorite football moment?
My favorite football moment would have to be the state semifinals my sophomore year of high school.

If you could trade places with anyone for a day, who would it be and why?
I would trade places with Sam Presti so I could see what really goes through his mind while running the Thunder, and just to be in control of the Thunder organization.

Who is the most played musician in your iPod?
Eric Church

If your house/apartment was on fire and you only had time to save one possession, what would it be and why?
That's tough. I'd probably have to say my wallet just so I don't have to go through the trouble of getting everything renewed again that's in it, and so the cash in it doesn't burn.

What is a TV show you watch but are embarrassed to admit?
I'm not sure I have one I'm embarrassed of. If I had to choose though, I would say The Big Bang Theory.

If you could have dinner with any three people (living or dead), who would they be? What would be served?
Jesus Christ. Michael Jordan. Wes Welker. Crab legs, sushi, fettuccini Alfredo with shrimp, fried shrimp, baked potatoes, and key lime pie and Freddie's milkshakes for dessert.

People would be surprised to know that ...
People would be surprised to know that basketball is my favorite sport.

What are three things on your bucket list? (things you want to do before you die)
Be on the sideline for – or play in – a Super Bowl. Sit court side at an NCAA Final Four. See the northern lights in person.

Xbox or PlayStation, and what's your game of choice?
I have a Playstation, but I don't really care which one I play. FIFA or Tiger Woods.
