STILLWATER – “Five Questions” is a series that catches up with members of the Oklahoma State football team during the off-season. This installment features receiver Blake Webb. His comments:

Receiver Blake Webb

On how he got started on football
“I started playing football when I was really young. I played in the Pop Warner League back home.”

On who he models his game after
“I’d say maybe Danny Amendola. He’s from The Woodlands and that’s where I come from as well. I’ve always looked up to him and watched film on him.”

On how he got to OSU
“I got recruited my junior and senior year by Coach (Jemal) Singleton, Coach (Doug) Meacham and Coach (Kasey) Dunn. It just felt like home to me, and that’s why I wanted to come here.”

On the strength of the offense for the upcoming season
“I’d say our speed, and up front we have some big, physical guys, and we’re deep at running back as well.”

On how he’s seen himself progress
“I’d say maturity and growing up. That’s from just being here longer and learning the offense. I’d say being healthy, also.”
