Jan. 20, 2011

STILLWATER – Oklahoma State football fans will have a chance to learn all about the Cowboys’ 2011 recruiting class at the 12th-annual OSU Football Recruit Roundup next month.

OSU head coach Mike Gundy and the Cowboy football coaching staff will be on hand to provide insights on the new recruits and share stories of the recruiting process.

The event will be held Wednesday, Feb. 2, at the Payne County Expo Center, located just east of Stillwater on Highway 51 and Fairgrounds Road. Doors will open at 4:00 p.m. with the program beginning at 5:30 p.m. The time was selected to allow fans to attend both the Roundup and the men’s basketball game versus Missouri at 8:00 pm.

This year’s version of the event also includes several activities for fans in attendance, including prize drawings, face painting for kids, “Made in Oklahoma” vendors and an OSU Student Store at the Stadium booth selling official OSU apparel.

Admission to the event, which is open to the public, is $10 per person at the door (cash only) and includes tailgate-style food and beverages.  Pistol Pete Partner members are free with their membership card, and all other kids 12 and under are $5 per person.
