THE OKLAHOMA STATE LOSS...
:: Was the Cowboys' first season-opening defeat since a 35-14 setback at Georgia in 2007.
:: Moved the Cowboys to 9-6 in their last 15 games against ranked opponents.
:: Moved the Cowboys to 15-3 in their last 18 non-conference games.
:: Moved the Cowboys to 11-3 in their last 14 games played in the state of Texas, dating back to 2010.
:: Moved the Cowboys to 4-2 in their last six neutral-site games.

::Oklahoma State captains for today's game were FB Teddy Johnson, DT James Castleman, FB Jeremy Seaton and QB J.W. Walssh.

:: Oklahoma State had 11 players make their first start as a Cowboy, including Zac Veatch, Zachary Crabtree, Marcell Ateman, Tyreek Hill, Emmanuel Ogbah, Ofa Hautau, Josh Furman, Seth Jacobs, Larry Stephens, Jordan Sterns and Ashton Lampkin.

:: OSU has scored 20 or more points in 53 consecutive games dating back to the start of the 2010 season. That streak is the longest active streak in the country and the second-longest since Division I split into the FBS/FCS in 1978, trailing only USC's 63 straight games of 20 or more points from Sept. 2, 2002 through Nov. 25, 2006.

:: The Cowboys held FSU to 4 of 14 on third downs. Last season they ranked third nationally with a 52 percent conversion rate.

:: FSU only gave up more than 20 points in two games last year.

:: A total of 14 freshmen played for the Cowboys, including seven true freshmen. The redshirt freshman include Jeral Morrow, Tre Flowers, Zachary Crabttree, Kaleb Smith, Vili Levini, Vincent Taylor and Dawson Bassett. The true freshmen were Dylan Harding, Gyasi Akem, Chris Lacy, Ramon Richards, Justin Phillips, Juwan Offrey and James Washington.

:: Oklahoma State intercepted FSU QB Jameis Winston twice, which ties for the most in one game in his career. Winston threw just 10 interceptions in 2013.

:: Seth Jacobs recorded the first interception of his career in the second quarter.

:: The Cowboys have forced at least one turnover in 22-straight games.

:: Desmond Roland scored on a 1-yard run in the second quarter. In 2013, he led the Big 12 in touchdowns scored with 16.

:: Emmanuel Ogbah's second quarter sack was the fifth sack of his career. He added his second of the game and sixth of his career in the fourth.

:: Ashton Lampkin's second quarter interception was the second of his career.

:: David Glidden's 55-yard touchdown catch to in the second-quarter was longest reception of his career and his second TD grab. It capped a three-play, 76-yard drive of 58 seconds.

:: With that drive, OSU has at least one touchdown drive of faster than two minutes in each of its last 36 games and in 52 of its last 53 contests.

:: No team was within three points of FSU during a second half of the regular season last year. Oklahoma State cut the FSU lead to 20-17 in the third quarter and 27-24 in the fourth.
