
PROFESSIONAL Scott Yielding is in his fourth year at Oklahoma State and his first as assistant director of football operations. He is involved in the daily internal functions of the Cowboy program. He began his career in 1993 as a recruiter and NCAA compliance liaison for his alma mater, The Citadel. After completing a master's degree in secondary education from The Citadel in 1998, he served the next 10 years in various capacities as a social studies teacher and coach on the high school level in South Carolina and Georgia. He has had the opportunity to instruct players like John Dwyer (Georgia Tech, 2010 Draft Pick) and Nehemiah Broughton (Washington Redskins). PERSONAL The 40-year-old Yielding was born and raised in Atlanta, Ga. He and his wife, Valerie, were married in March of 2008. |
