Anderson Leads Cowboys to 59-21 Win Over Red Raiders

This is the fourth straight win in the series for the Cowboys.

One of the big storylines of the 2012 season was his jump in August from third-team to first-teamer ... Started every game but the season finale, which he missed due to injury ... Very athletic lineman.

2012 (Sophomore): Recorded 30 tackles ... Finished sixth on the team with 6.5 tackles for loss ... Had an interception that he returned for 14 yards against Texas Tech ... Had a season-high nine tackles, broke up a pass, had a quarterback sack and another tackle for loss in his first career road start at Arizona ... Had five tackles against Texas ... Recorded tackles behind the line of scrimmage against Louisiana, Texas, Iowa State, West Virginia and Texas Tech.

2011 (Freshman): Played in seven games and set a season high in tackles in his college debut with three stops against Louisiana ... Had two tackles against Arizona and solo stops vs. Tulsa and Baylor.

High School: Pledged to the Cowboys late in the recruiting process after several months as a Texas Tech commitment ... A two-time all-state selection ... District defensive MVP and also all-district pick as a punter ... Had a double-figure scoring average on the basketball court and left his high school as its all-time leading scorer and rebounder ...
