2009 (Junior): Had his best game as a Cowboy as he turned in an eight-tackle effort at Oklahoma ... Against the Sooners, he was also credited with a quarterback sack for a 15-yard loss and returned a fumble 55 yards ... Ended the season with 27 tackles ... Had three tackles behind the line of scrimmage (vs. Grambling State and Colorado) ... Recorded three tackles against Colorado, Iowa State, Texas A&M and Grambling ... Had two stops against No. 13 Georgia and Rice.

2008 (Sophomore): Ended the season with 27 tackles, including 15 solo stops ... Recorded a season-best five tackles against Troy and Houston ... Also broke up a pass and had a quarterback hurry against Troy ... Intercepted his first career pass in the opener at Washington State ... Credited with four tackles at Colorado ... Had two tackles and a QB hurry vs. OU as well ... Saw action in all 13 games.

2007 (Freshman): Played in seven games and was credited with nine tackles ... Had two tackles against Sam Houston State and also had stops against Florida Atlantic, Nebraska, Kansas State and Indiana.

High School: Was regarded as one of the top prospects in talent-rich Texas ... Had 164 total tackles during an impressive senior season at Irving's MacArthur High School ... Fifteen of those tackles were behind the line of scrimmage to go with four forced fumbles and five fumble recoveries ... Also added four blocked kicks and three interceptions, two of which he returned for touchdowns ... Named first-team all-area by the Dallas Morning News and was the District 6-5A defensive MVP ... First-team all-district as both a junior and senior and was a Dallas Morning News Top 100 player.
