2012 (Senior): Missed the Louisiana game with injury, but started every other game ... Helped pave the way for first-team All-Big 12 running back Joseph Randle and was part of an offensive line that set the stage for a Cowboy offense that averaged 46 points per game ... Played a season-high 97 snaps against Baylor ... Did not allow a sack and yielded just five quarterback pressures in 754 recorded snaps.

2011 (Junior): Appeared in five games as a right guard (Louisiana, Tulsa, Kansas, Baylor and Texas Tech) ... Played a season-high 42 snaps against the Jayhawks.

2010 (Sophomore): Saw action in three games, taking the field against Washington State, Louisiana and Kansas.

2009: Sat out the season to fulfill NCAA transfer guidelines.

2008 (Freshman): Playing on the Air Force Academy Varsity Football in Colorado Springs ... During his time at Air Force he excelled both in and out of the classroom being Awarded the Air Force Small Arms Expert Marksmanship Ribbon and Awarded the National Defense Service Medal. He also performed volunteer work, such as the time he volunteered at a Colorado Springs soup kitchen.

High School: Attended Bishop Lynch High School in Dallas, where he was a decorated prepster ... A TAPPS all-stater and a top 100 all-area player by Rivals, Scout and the Dallas Morning News ... Ranked by ESPN as the nation's No. 14 prospect at center ... Rivals ranked him No. 25 in the country at that position ... Began his prep career at McKinney High School.
