2012 (Freshman): Got his first career start against Kansas and ended the season with nine straight starts under his belt ... Led all freshmen in starts (10), catches (29) and receiving yards (394) ... Receptions total was fourth on the team and yardage total was fifth among all Cowboys ... Began his career with eight catches for 77 yards in the season opener against Savannah State ... His first career TD came on a 1-yard pass from J.W. Walsh in the opener ... Injury and illness sidelined him for the next three games (Arizona, Louisiana and Texas) ... Had nine-yard receptions against Kansas and TCU ... Caught a 41-yard pass against TCU ... At Kansas State he had four catches for 81 yards, including a 54-yard TD reception from Wes Lunt ... Caught three passes for 49 yards against West Virginia ... High School: Was a Class 5A all-state selection by the San Antonio Express News and he was an all-district selection on a Reagan team that made an appearance in the quarterfinals of the state playoffs ... Ended his senior season with 55 catches covering 1,060 yards with 14 touchdowns and an average of 19.9 yards per reception ... Also a baseball and track athlete ... A first-team academic all-state selection ... One of the last Cowboys added to the signing class.
