SPURS is a select group of 35 young women who form a spirit organization to support the Cowboy Basketball Program. The organization began in the 1980s and has become a vital part of the basketball squad.  The SPURS promote spirit at Oklahoma State through a variety of activities.  They are responsible for decorating the locker room before each home game, selling game rosters and acting as hostesses in other events for the athletic department.  SPURS also provides care packages for the basketball team and staff for away games.  These duties are just a fraction of the support efforts the SPURS organization undertakes to make each year a success.
SPURS plays an integral role the Coaches vs. Cancer campaign every year by supporting the 3-Point Shoot-Out and participating in philanthropic projects to raise money and awareness.
In order for SPURS to function in the most efficient and productive manner, funding from several fundraisers is essential. Each SPUR is responsible for raising $400 over the summer as part of our annual sponsorship drive. Contributions defray the costs of the SPURS yearly expenses, which include events with the team and staff, a uniform costs and travel expenditures for the Big 12 Tournament.
If you are interested in learning more about the Spurs please email the Oklahoma State SPURS at okstatespurs@gmail.com.

Kylie Jobe
Kylie Brooke Jobe was a student at Oklahoma State University and a member of the SPURS organization during the 2010-2011 season.  On March 23, 2011, Kylie and her boyfriend Kyle were killed by drunk driver while returning home from a family ski trip in Colorado.  Kylie was an amazing young woman who loved Cowboy Basketball and being a part of SPURS.  SPURS will continue to honor her memory as she will always have a place behind the Cowboy basketball bench.
