Stillwater, Okla. — The Oklahoma State duo of Le'Bryan Nash and Marcus Smart swept the Big 12 weekly awards, it was announced today by the conference office. Nash was named the Player of the Week, while Smart received the Rookie of the Week award.

Nash averaged 20 points and 6.7 rebounds in leading the Cowboys to a tournament title at the Puerto Rico Tip-Off. He scored a game-high 23 points in the championship game against sixth-ranked N.C. State, including a perfect 13-of-13 from the free-throw line.

Smart averaged 17 points and 8.3 rebounds per game while also recording 13 assists, 10 steals and five blocked shots in the three-game tournament. He was named the MVP of the tourney after finishing with 20 points, seven rebounds, seven assists, four blocks and four steals against the Wolfpack.

It is the second weekly honor for Nash, a sophomore who was named the Rookie of the Week on Jan. 30 of last year after his performance against Missouri.

It marks the first time since Feb. 28, 2010, that OSU has swept the weekly awards. That week, James Anderson was named the Player of the Week, while Matt Pilgrim received Rookie of the Week honors.

Nash, Smart and the rest of the Cowboys will return to action on Sunday, Nov. 25, when they host Portland State at 1 pm inside Gallagher-Iba Arena.
