About Oklahoma State
Oklahoma State is coming off an 89-80 victory over Central Oklahoma on Saturday evening in the Cowboys’ first exhibition game of the season. The Bronchos are ranked No. 17 in the NCAA Division II preseason poll. OSU was led by a pair of players -- senior Obi Muonelo and junior James Anderson -- who each scored 23 points. Muonelo also grabbed 10 rebounds, joining newcomer Matt Pilgrim (14 points, 13 rebounds) as both recorded double-doubles. Keiton Page added 13 points before being hampered by an ankle injury with just under seven minutes remaining in the game. Oklahoma State outrebounded the shorter Bronchos by 22 (53-31) and held UCO to just 22.8 percent shooting (8 of 35) from beyond the three-point arc. However, OSU turned the ball over too many times (27) and was just 24-of-40 (60 percent) from the free-throw line.
