About Oklahoma State
Oklahoma State is coming off a 23-12 record last season and advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament, falling to top-seeded Pittsburgh. The Cowboys return four of their six leading scorers from a year ago, although the roster is also dotted with seven newcomers, including six freshmen. OSU is the youngest team in the Big 12 Conference and one of the youngest in the country. Four of the Pokes’ five projected starters are returners. In fact, all four of those returners started at least 12 games last season.

Quick Notes

OSU is entering its 101st season of collegiate basketball and has compiled a 1,475-1,030 mark ... in just one season, Coach Travis Ford already ranks eighth on the school coaching victories list with 23; he is the 18th head coach in school history ... Saturday’s game against Central Oklahoma will be the first matchup between these two teams since Dec. 4, 1947, when then Oklahoma A&M defeated Central State 52-23 to open the season ... OSU senior Obi Muonelo and UCO’s Victor Driver both attended Edmond Santa Fe High School.
