Six former Oklahoma State Cowboys have made an NBA training camp roster for the upcoming season. NBA teams begin practice today, and Tony Allen is the lone former OSU player to wear the same uniform this season as he will suit up for the Boston Celtics. Joey Graham, who spent the past four seasons with the Toronto Raptors, will be playing for the Denver Nuggets after signing a non-guaranteed one-year contract last Saturday. His twin brother, Stephen, who played for the Indiana Pacers the last two years, will be playing for his sixth NBA squad after signing with the Charlotte Bobcats on Monday. Desmond Mason, who spent last season with the Oklahoma City Thunder, will return to the west coast and play for the Sacramento Kings after signing a one-year contract. The former Cowboy began his professional career with the Seattle SuperSonics and has also played for the Milwaukee Bucks (2003-05, 2007-08) and the New Orleans/Oklahoma City Hornets (2005-07). John Lucas, who played in 60 games for the Houston Rockets during two seasons from 2005-07, has resurfaced and is listed on the Miami Heat’s training camp roster. He averaged 3.1 points and 0.8 assists per game with the Rockets. David Monds, who ended his collegiate career at OSU in 2007 and has spent the past year playing in the NBA Development League, impressed Los Angeles Lakers officials enough that they signed him to their training camp roster on Monday. He is one of four players vying for the final two spots on the 15-man roster.
