Stillwater, Okla. -- Three Cowboys were named to the Academic All-Big 12 team, it was announced by the league office. Senior Mason Cox and sophomore Christien Sager were named to the first team, while sophomore Michael Cobbins was honored on the second team. Sager, a mechanical engineering major from Wichita Falls, Texas, received special recognition for his perfect 4.00 grade point average. Cox, is a mechanical engineering major from Highland Village, Texas, and Cobbins is a university studies major from Amarillo, Texas. Oklahoma State is 18-5 overall this season and 8-3 in Big 12 Conference play, currently tied for first in the league.
