COLLEGE STATION, Texas (AP) - Tony Allen scored 29 points and grabbed nine rebounds as Oklahoma State beat Texas A&M 93-76 on Saturday night in the Big 12 opener for both schools.
Oklahoma State (12-1) got double-digit scoring from five players in winning its 10th straight games. Cheyne Gadson scored 17 points for the Cowboys.
Texas A&M (8-4) hit just 1-of-14 from 3-point range in the second half as the Cowboys broke open a close game. Bernard King led the Aggies with a season-high 27 points and seven assists.
The Aggies led 41-40 at the half, keyed by 59 percent shooting from the field.
Melvin Sanders, who scored 12 points, hit a jumper at 13:14 of the second half to give the Cowboys a 53-51 lead they would not relinquish.
The lead grew with Gadson contributing off the bench, scoring six of the Cowboys' eight points in one stretch. Victor Williams, who finished with 14 points, hit 7-of-8 from the free throw line in the final 2:11 to extend the Oklahoma State lead.
Antoine Wright finished with 15 points for the Aggies, and Kevin Turner
