2009-10 (Junior season)
• named to the all-newcomer squad of the Big 12 by both the Kansas City Star and The Oklahoman ... was also named to the all-bench team by The Oklahoman.
• led the team and ranked first among juniors in the Big 12 Conference in field goal percentage.
• ranked 10th overall in the Big 12 in rebounding.
• combined with Moses, became just the ninth Cowboy duo since rebounds were kept in 1953 to both grab 200 or more rebounds in the same season, the first since 2005.
• ranked sixth among juniors in the Big 12 in rebounding.
• recorded 11 double-figure scoring games in his first season at Oklahoma State, including a season-high 21 at Missouri.
• averaged 10.3 points over the last seven games, including three postseason contests.
• was named the Big 12 Conference's Rookie of the Week for the period ending Feb. 28 ... he scored 18 points on 8-of-8 shooting and grabbed six rebounds against top-ranked Kansas.

2008-09 (Redshirt season)
• received a waiver from the NCAA on Aug. 21, granting him immediate eligibility at OSU after transferring from Kentucky.
• sat out the 2008-09 season at Kentucky as a redshirt due to NCAA Division I transfer rules.

2007-08 (Sophomore season)
• played in 26 games and started 11 as a sophomore at Hampton.
• averaged 7.7 points and 5.2 rebounds per contest.
• grabbed a career-high 12 rebounds against Coppin State.
• recorded his second-career double-double with 18 points and 12 rebounds at Coppin State; the 12 boards are a career high.
• led the team in both field goal percentage (46.4) and blocked shots per game (1.2).
• finished the season with 10 double-figure scoring games.

2006-07 (Freshman season)
• missed the first nine games of his rookie season with a broken foot.
• saw his first collegiate action at Virginia and responded with a 13-point performance on 6-of-8 shooting from the floor in 21 minutes.
• went on to start 19 of the Pirates' final 21 games.
• scored a career-high 24 points on 10-of-15 shooting from the floor at North Carolina A&T.
• matched that mark against Delaware State, making 7-of-12 shots from the floor and 8-of-12 from the charity stripe; also had three blocked shots and three steals against the Blue Hens.
• recorded his first-career double-double with 15 points and 10 rebounds at Bethune-Cookman.
• opened the MEAC Tournament with a 21-point, eight-rebound performance against Howard.
• was a four-time Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference Rookie of the Week.
• named to the MEAC All-Rookie team following his freshman season.

High School
• spent the 2005-06 season at Bridgton Academy in North Bridgton, Maine.
• helped lead the Wolverines to a 22-9 record as they won the NEPSAC championship.
• prior to Bridgton Academy, he starred at Withrow High School in Cincinnati.
• in his final season, he led the Tigers to a 23-2 record as they finished as the league and district runners-up.

Born July 17, 1987, Matt is the son of James and Deborah Pilgrim. He has a brother, Mike, who played at Cincinnati, Seton Hall and LSU-Shreveport. Matt is majoring in economics at Oklahoma State.
