
Entering his sixth season as the athletic trainer for the Cowboy Basketball program is Jason Miller. Miller came to OSU from the University of Washington, where he served as the athletic trainer for the Huskies baseball and football teams in 2005-06.
Before taking the position in Seattle, Miller was the athletic trainer for the national champion Connecticut Huskies basketball team from 2002-05.
Originally from Clarion, Iowa, Miller earned his bachelor's degree in exercise science from the University of Iowa in 1995 where he also worked within the Hawkeye athletic department and with the men's basketball program.
Miller received his master's degree in higher education administration from Auburn University while working with the Tiger football program. He worked with the Auburn football and men's basketball teams for four years.
Miller was the head ATC for the 2005 USA men's basketball under-21 team during its competition in Argentina. During the summer of 2010, he once again worked for USA Basketball, serving as the ATC for the men's World University Games team which won the bronze medal.
He and his wife, Teresa, enjoy spending time with their family. The couple had their first child, Henry, on March 30, 2011. Jason also enjoys hiking and woodworking in his spare time.
