Born April 15, 1990, Gary is the son of Randy Gaskins. He has two older sisters, Montinia and Nicole Askew. Gary joined the Air Force in 2008 after graduating high school and was honorably discharged due to injury. He is contemplaing a degree in computer science from Oklahoma State.
