Ohio State - Game 1 Highlights

Oklahoma State won for the 11th time in its last 12 games Tuesday night as the 25th-ranked Cowboys scored twice in the eighth inning to defeat Ohio State, 4-2, at Allie P. Reynolds Stadium.

Gage Green and Saulyer Saxon were the heroes for the Cowboys as OSU improved to 29-18 on the season, which includes a 21-3 record on their home field.

2012 Bedlam Series - Game 1 Highlights

Highlights from Game 1 of the 2012 Bedlam Baseball Series, where Oklahoma State extended its winning streak to nine games and shut out Oklahoma for the first time in six years with a 3-0 victory over the Sooners at ONEOK Field in Tulsa.

Andrew Heaney continued his dominance on the mound, tossing his third shutout of the season to help the 25th-ranked Cowboys improve to 27-17 overall and 12-7 in Big 12 Conference play. OSU's winning streak is its longest since the Pokes won 12 in a row during the 2008 season.

Oklahoma State continued its winning ways Tuesday night as the Cowboys knocked off Bedlam-rival and 23rd-ranked Oklahoma, 6-1, in a non-conference game at Allie P. Reynolds Stadium.

2012: An All-Big 12 Conference Second Team infielder ... started all 57 games, 56 of those at second base ... led Cowboys with .324 batting average and 23 multi-hit games ... also had six multi-RBI efforts ... ranked in top 10 in Big 12 in hits (72) and doubles (18) ... first-career hit was infield single at Cal Poly (2/18) ... slugged first home run of career against Dallas Baptist (2/21) ... turned in a career day in the first game of a doubleheader against Alabama A&M on 3/10 ... was 5-for-5 in the game with three home runs, two doubles and nine RBIs ... three homers tied OSU single-game record and nine RBIs was one shy of Cowboys' mark ... 16 total bases in game tied Big 12 Conference record ... was named Big 12 Co-Player of the Week and a Louisville Slugger National Player of the Week on 3/12 ... was OSU's leading hitter in Big 12 play with a .290 average ... had a season-long hitting streak of seven games ... also made two relief appearances on mound and worked three scoreless innings with a pair of strikeouts.
