Ohio State - Game 1 Highlights

Oklahoma State won for the 11th time in its last 12 games Tuesday night as the 25th-ranked Cowboys scored twice in the eighth inning to defeat Ohio State, 4-2, at Allie P. Reynolds Stadium.

Gage Green and Saulyer Saxon were the heroes for the Cowboys as OSU improved to 29-18 on the season, which includes a 21-3 record on their home field.

2012 Bedlam Highlights

Oklahoma State continued its winning ways Tuesday night as the Cowboys knocked off Bedlam-rival and 23rd-ranked Oklahoma, 6-1, in a non-conference game at Allie P. Reynolds Stadium.

2011: Saw action in 14 games at second base, shortstop, outfield and DH and made 18 appearances on the mound, four of those as a starter ... had two RBIs and tied a career high with three hits vs. South Alabama (3/5) ... earned wins against Washington (3/23) and Texas (3/27) ... tossed 4.2 scoreless innings against the Longhorns ... recorded career-best seven strikeouts in four innings against Nebraska (4/1) and earned a save in that contest.

2010: Redshirted after injuring his elbow in the first game of the season at USC while throwing his warm-up pitches after being called out of the bullpen ... underwent Tommy John surgery in March.

2009: Established himself as OSU's closer and led team with 28 appearances ... tied the school's single-season record with 10 saves ... tied the record in the opening round of the NCAA Clemson Regional with 3.1 scoreless innings of work against Alabama ... ranked third in the Big 12 in saves ... led the team with a 2.16 ERA ... earned a win in OSU's season opener vs. BYU (2/20) with two innings of relief work ... picked up first-career save against Manhattan (2/21) ... collected first hit of career against Cal State Fullerton (3/13) ... recorded a career-best four strikeouts on three occasions (4/4 vs. Texas, 4/12 at Kansas, 4/22 vs. Missouri State) ... was 3-for-5 with two home runs and five RBIs in a win over Tabor College (4/1) ... lifted OSU to a win over Missouri State (4/22) with his performance on the mound and at the plate ... collected four RBIs over the final two innings, including a pinch-hit, two-run homer in the eighth inning ... finished 2-for-2 with four RBIs and worked the final two innings on the mound for the save.
