Cowboy Basketball Facing Texas A&M In Legends Classic Semifinal

STILLWATER – The Oklahoma State basketball team will open the 2017 Legends Classic against former Big 12 foe Texas A&M at 6 p.m. Central on Nov. 20 on ESPN2.
The Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York will be the site of the first meeting between the Cowboys and Aggies since 2012. The two programs shared a Big 12 rivalry for 16 seasons, and OSU is 31-17 all-time against Texas A&M, including a 5-2 record on neutral courts. The Cowboys won the last meeting, 60-42, in Stillwater on Feb. 25, 2012.
Led by seventh-year head coach Billy Kennedy, the Aggies are coming off a 16-15 season, but return a young squad that features two All-SEC players.
In-state rivals Penn State and Pittsburgh will square off for the 148th time in the other Legends Classic semifinal. The two semifinal winners will meet for the championship on Nov. 21 on ESPN2 directly following the consolation game at 2:30 p.m. Central on ESPNU.
