OSU Puts Five on USTFCCCA All-Academic Cross Country Team

NEW ORLEANS – Three Cowgirls and two Cowboys have been named to the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association's Academic All-America team, including the men's Elite 90 recipient Christian Liddell.
Liddell and newcomer Sylvester Barus made the team and helped the Cowboys as a whole get named to the All-Academic teams list with a 3.17 GPA, the fourth-highest cumulative GPA in the conference.
NCAA champion Kaela Edwards, U.S. junior champion Michelle Magnani and All-American Molly Sughroue made the women's individual list after their successful season in competition and in the classroom.
OSU had a cumulative team GPA of 3.41 and was one of three programs in the conference that put at least three athletes on the All-Academic team.
